Dr. Karen Buhariwalla is a breast surgeon specializing in the comprehensive care of patients with breast disease. She treats both benign breast conditions and breast malignancies and provides ongoing care and guidance for patients at high risk for developing breast cancer.
Dr. Buhariwalla completed her General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University, followed by a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Emory University. After completing her fellowship, she chose to make Georgia home, where she is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized breast care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Buhariwalla enjoys reading, drawing and pastel painting, running, traveling, and, most importantly, navigating motherhood to the best of her ability. She believes that caring for patients extends beyond treating a diagnosis—it means listening, educating, and supporting each person throughout their journey.
